February already....

I am always amazed at how quickly time flies. Seems like it was just New Years Eve, where does the time go?

Crop Connection was amazing, it was truly everything I expected and more. Those ladies know how to make you feel special. The only negative side was that I got sick on Friday. I did stay all day Friday but ended up leaving early on Saturday, which was disappointing but I just could not handle it any longer. I spent the next week in bed with a bacterial lung infection. Praise God I am almost 100% now. Still having some issues being tired and a slight annoying cough but for the most part I'm back to myself.

The cruise is in 17 more days. I am getting anxious about packing and going someplace new. I have a lot to do between now and then but I'm more than ready for our latest adventure. We are looking forward to 7 days of fun, food and relaxation!! I can't wait to wake up in the morning and go sit on my balcony and enjoy some bagels and orange juice while watching the ocean, I have no doubt it will be amazing.

Another exciting piece of info, I made the decision to join Curves. It's time to get serious about exercise and I like that it's a 30 minute workout just around the corner. I am actually going to get signed up this afternoon and I can't wait to get started. I'm doing much better with my portion control and have only really blown it a handfull of times since the beginning of this year, but my body is being stubborn and not losing weight. My clothes feel better but very little loss to show for it, so I know the answer is exercise. So here I go...on a new adventure. I'll keep ya posted.

That's all for now...maybe I'll post again before the cruise, maybe I won't...just wait and see. If not then I'll definitely give you all the exciting details when we get back!!

So sorry to hear you were sick. I had wondered why you weren't blogging. I hope you have the most fabulous time on your cruise. How lucky. My kids are going on a cruise with their father Feb. 13tg out of FL to the Bahamas. Wish it was me taking them! Curves will be great. About five years ago I joined Curves. I was very motivated to lose weight so I did the circuit twice (instead of the once they tell you to), I ate a two-egg onion and cheese omelet for breakfast and slim fast for lunch and dinner. I lost 30 pounts in 6 weeks. While you might not attack it so drastically you will see results. And everyone is so positive and encouraging. It's really a feel good place. I miss going there, but we have a membership to an athletic club the kids can go to (of which I need to get off my lazy butt and go to!).
